Product overview
Ramped edge strips for our 17mm interlocking rubber playground tiles. They clip onto the interlocking edge of the tiles and turn a raised 17mm step into a gentle slope, so feet, buggies and wheelchairs don't catch on the edge.
Why fit edge strips
- Fewer trips: a tapered edge instead of a raised step wherever people walk on and off the tiles.
- Yellow or black: yellow clearly marks the edge of the play area; black gives a seamless finish.
- Clip-on fit: no glue or fixings. The strips connect straight onto the tile's interlocking edge.
- Indoors and out: weatherproof rubber, made to sit alongside the tiles all year round.
How many do I need?
Measure every edge of the tiled area that people will walk on or off, add the lengths together in metres and round up. Each strip is 1m long and can be trimmed to length with a sharp utility knife. Not sure? Call us on 01282 270214 with your layout and we'll count them for you.

Is it suitable for playgrounds?
Products marked BS EN 1177 are tested as impact-absorbing playground surfacing. The right thickness depends on the fall height of your play equipment, so tell us what you're installing and we'll advise before you order.
